I have a deuce and a half, and the truck itself is a '66 but the engine is an '81. Yes, it is loud. We stuck a muffler on the exhaust and that helped but I still wear earplugs and my Bose noise cancelation headphones. Forget having a conversation if you are going any faster than 40 mph.
