Our certified therapy dogs offer so many wonderful benefits to people of all ages such as: Taking a person’s mind off of personal problems, aches, pains and worries. If your facility would like to start a therapy dog program, Alliance of Therapy Dogs is at your service. Best of all, there is no cost to your facility.

The Alliance of Therapy Dogs does require that participating dogs be clean and well groomed, have trimmed/filed nails, clean teeth, be free of internal and external parasites, have an annual veterinary health exam, including proof of a negative fecal exam and current rabies vaccination.While Mebel serves Alliance of Therapy Dogs as a general volunteer, too, she is the only volunteer tester in the area for about 200 miles.
